My quilt

So I want to write a blog post about my t-shirt quilt - but what do I say? I can talk about the theme, t-shirt placement? maybe not. Or maybe the feelings it invokes for me.  Maybe the reasons for why it's important to me.

Well my t-shirt quilt is significant for me because it's unique. I think there is enough copy-cats out there so it's nice to have something that nobody in the word will ever have. The t-shirts alone are unique and then the stitching adds craftsmanship to the work.

The quilt is memory invoking. Each block has a story and symbolizes something for me during college. Most sections are from my fraternity t-shirts, but there are sprinkles of track and field as well.

It also just looks amazing. I love it as an accent  piece on the wall and it's something that I can just look at when I'm lost in thought.

To put it simply, it's a thanksgiving trigger. Reminding me of the great memories I have from such a significant time of my life.
